Not a chance. I love consoles and all, but $300 is enough to plug a shiny new part into my computer. Possibly several depending what I'm getting. Price needs to be much lower and a greater selection of games before I'd ever consider getting it.

I wouldn't count on a PS3 port just yet. There has been rumors that SE is unveiling Rapture at E3, which if holds true, is only slated for the PS3 and PC. At any rate, we'll find out in a few days.

How are the drivers with the Barracuda? I have a Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatality, but the drivers rely on "registration" for them to work properly. That smacks almost of spyware in my eyes.

I mainly make my gil by fishing, although I think I'm going to have to add gardening into the mix. A steady 4 hrs of fishing used to net me around 80k till the yo-yo's on my server flooded stock and subsequently bottomed out the prices on the AH.

I'd stick with the first power supply, now a days you don't want to drop below a 600w power supply.

Power supply should get you by, even if you choose to add another video card. Have heard that Corsair seems to be a solid choice in PSUs, Antec is another. Is the rig going to be gaming only? If so take a look at Raptor drives from WD. Only 150 GB, but also much faster then the standard 7200 drives....
