the staff skill is lvl 215, and it is VERY good, but only useful against mobs really em or lower, anything higher and it deals some damage but not that much, is virtually useless on an it mob.. that said, against a em or lower mob, a pld can solo litterly anything they want with that skill ;p

yes it does, i personally use the windower for my ffxi, i couldnt live w/o it (ok i could but it makes my life ALOT easier) i will give you one warning though, using the ffxi windower enables the windows key again, however it doesnt kick you out of game (yay) but does have an intresting side effect....

correction Cover can be used ever 3 minutes, but it only lasts 15 seconds >.<;; with your af helm, cover lasts longer, i think up to 30 seconds but i havent tested it myself. cover is a VERY good ability, but shouldnt be needed that much. until post 50 with a ranger, then youl need it i recommend yo...

well my pld just recently hit lvl 57, and i have a few words of advice 1. pld from lvl 10-30 is a pain, you wont do much damage and a good war/mnk can hold hate as easily or easier than you (yes you heard me right). 2. post 30, you start to get invaluble abillites for hate, sentenel, flash and cover...

i think the idea of SE was to actually make food more variable, as to give us more choices, by making kabobs more expensive and by making non stackable food last so much longer, SE has increased the posiblilities of food to eat, seriously, when will you need more than 2 non stackable foods in a part...

get a tank first, then 6 of you lvl 45+ should be able to take the mob, he is a shadow type mob and has alot of hp, so be prepared to smack him good and hard to beging the fight.

a tarutaru crafter by the name of Leapinglizzy, i often see him in sandy and laugh each time, cause i see the name and immediatly think attack...

then i realize that even if i skinned him, tarutaru's probably wouldnt make good boots... but at least they are good to eat^^

ok to put it into perspective, Pld/whm is a very useful combo and you will be the best undead killer in the game... in theory, in practice however people generally dont kill undead for exp and generally stay away from them unless they have to, this makes the pld's undead killing ability almost worth...
