I just got done with The Neon Court last week, that was phenomenal. If you haven't read any of Kate Griffin's work, start with 'A Madness of Angels'. ^^
Heh. Yea, I don't like watching needles going into my skin. :( First time I had stitches was at my little brother's kindergarten physical; I was... hrm... eight? Anyway, we were leaving the office, and in my hurry I turned around and ran straight into the corner of the door. Hard enough to knock mys...
I recently rediscovered The Correctness. Some of their stuff is iffy, but a few are true gems. :D Like their Open Letters, those tend to be funny reads: http://www.thecorrectness.com/correctness/open-letter-to-the-snorg-tee-girls/ <After picture of a girl in a I <3 Lamp shirt> YOU LOVE LAMP? I love ...
I don't think it was so much about the 'realism' of the politics, but that knowing the metagame (mechanically how Fable III tracks your "good vs. evil" score) allowed her to do all the evil things she wanted, and still make the game give her the 'good' ending. I've done the same in Fallout...
From Pop Matters, it's an editorial on metagaming and immersion; I thought it was interesting and I wanted to share. :) http://www.popmatters.com/pm/post/133616-perfect-game-ending/ To start with something fundamental, consider enemy respawn. Doesn't say. Only thing I could find was that his other main guitar was one made out of an actual Sega Mega Drive game system (the Sega Genesis to those of us in the States).

I fixed my heater. :D I popped open my car's hood to take a look, and I figured it must have gotten cranky because the coolant tank was empty. So, I recited the Rites of Maintenance and Supplication, re-inscribed the Sigil of Vulkan, and made unto the Machine Spirit an offering of engine coolant. It...
I almost never notice durability loss on my gear in 14, seems to be fairly gradual. Then again, I have three sets of gear to spread it out on (War/Crafting/Gathering) and don't go far above my level.
It's also illegal to drive without insurance over here and you can be prosecuted for doing so. Think there's two types of insurance, full cover and 3rd party only. 3rd party only basically only covers whoever you crash into, something you'd only get for old knackered cars that would cost more to re...
Car I want: 1970 Mustang Boss 429. Car I have: 1995 Buick LeSabre. With a seriously damaged front fender, a cracked windshield, and several thousand dollars worth of other work it needs that just isn't going to happen because it's not worth it. ^^; As for computers - check out http://www.falcon-nw.c...
i didnt quite get it but i like to draw :) :P Well, I know what she was talking about, and basically it comes down to two points: A) The basic human shape doesn't really vary that much between ethnicities - everyone has two arms, two ears, two eyes, a nose, a mouth, all arranged in a fairly specifi...
Also, no one cares because we've all been trained from FFXI, WoW, Aion, EQ2, etc, to just wait and see when the info we want appears on a wiki and then decide what to do from there. A lot of soul of a true adventurer has been lost over the years. We don't want to struggle, we don't want to fail. Ea...
