I hate DevArt!

I hate them so much!!!
I'll try to make this brief:
In an attempt to see how much of an attention whore I could be I drew some nude lesbian Naruto fanart but it was only kissing and all the naughty bits were obscured. Was getting a constant stream of favourites, like one a day or so, then out of no where DevArt decided it broke the guidelines and removed it. I'll point out I slapped a mature content warning on it for nudity.
So being pissed off with this I resubmitted the work under stronger mature content warning of nudity and sexual content although kissing != sex but was just covering my bases.
This time it was less popular, probably because the kids can't look at it, and a month or so down the line brings us to today and I find out they've removed it and also permanently banned me, WTF?
Of course I've complained, demanded an explanation and reinstation of my account. The community has really gone down hill but now the actual admins are full of sh*t too, God!

As far as the deletion goes, an explanation as to why it was deleted is always courteous.
Edit: But, I don't understand. It follows the rules.

Nice email I sent their tech support "Screwing around and not following your own rules and regulations is a clear sign that your site is committing Internet Piracy and is in violation of the FCC Internet Commerce Laws. I will now be forced to watch your site shut down and oversee that you refund all your premium members. Pirates like you will no longer be allowed to conduct business and under Illinois State laws, you and your administration staff will spend the next 20 years in jail."

Not my best drawing but that was really the whole point, draw some crappy fanart that panders to the lowest common demoninator and see how popular it is
They never give explanation other than it breaks their policies or whatever, which is bullcrap. I haven't read them in a while but as far as I'm aware the only things you can't do is have sex scenes and post someone else's work as your own, both of which that obviously isn't.
Saying that there's content warning for sexual content so maybe it's okay as well?
The artistic nude section is far worse than that, half the stuff is pornographic.
I'll just make another account if they don't reinstate my current one but I'd lose all my "precious" page views and have to spend ages reuploading everything.
Think I'll also make a separate account just for that picture.

They banned you for that? wtf..there is way worse sh*t on there with hardly any mature warning. Oh noes a couple of chicks kissing with a little ass cheek..please i can see more on prime time network television.

Really? What did they say? They haven't responded to me yet.
The reason behind the permanent ban was intentionally resubmitting something they had previously removed. Looking at the message again they gave a vague and blatently BS excuse as to why my (re)submission was removed:
"The work(s) listed below have been removed by staff due to a violation of deviantART policy or because its theme or content was judged unacceptable. Your deviantART submissions must obey certain guidelines and restrictions."
From what I can find here is their submission policy but it just seems like a load of BS that doesn't say anything about what you can and can't submit ~>

"Unacceptable"? Really? Nudity is fine (and nothing is even showing anyways), they even have a section for it. I can't see how kissing is unacceptable, it's not sex, it's kissing, not even groping. Fanart again is fine, they have huge sections for it so what the hell is the problem?
Oh yeah, what's worse is some prick with too much spare time on his hands and an extremely small penis must have flagged my submissions as inappropriate or DevArt wouldn't have seen them and removed them in the first place. The fact that it was the same one, twice, kinda suggests he's stalking my site

Finally got a reply from them, apparently it's against their policies to show underaged characters in any way, shape or form. You'd have to troll around in their policies to actually come across that BS but guess it's partially my fault for not asking them the first time. Still BS though, plenty of others who've done that.
To top it off, my monitor just died today >.<

as for the underage thing... it's not like they look like they are 8 or something. That would be kinda sick...

I am going to assume that somewhere in the series they identify these people as under 18. But that any way, shape, or form bit is odd. A LOT of anime is just full of teens and/or takes place in high schools. Characters who really needn't be age identified often are labeled as teens mostly to foster a sense of identification in the fans.
If you quoted them accurately well over 1/2 of all fan are is illegal on that site.

if you claim them to be from the shippuden (sp?) series then they are around 17 I believe. can't find the info on the viz site. to many sakura and ino forum posts to go through.

Took a bit of searching around their BS site to find their BS policies that relates to this BS:

I know it says "photography" but the same rules apply to drawings and such.
The wiki states the characters as 12/13 originally then 15/16 in Shippuuden, I did state that they were from Shippuuden in my original picture but still not 18
Another policy says a female minor (older than 2) can't be topless but it doesn't say anything about showing boobs. Someone can be wearing a top but showing boobs still. Technically if they're wearing socks then they're not naked either so that bypasses their crap.
You're not allowed to make new accounts either, if they relate my new one to my old one they'll ban that too. I'm reposting all my old pictures so it'll be hard to play ignorance on that, just hope some stupid asshat doesn't tell DevArt about it.
I'm of age, Sugami, you can draw me kissing another mithra if you want :p
It's not the kissing they had problems with, it's the nudity
