We all know some attributes (also known as stats) are better for some jobs over another job. And I've also heard a lot of things on what certain stats are reported to do and what they are reported to not do. (Sometimes this information contradicts each other. I've had people tell me that STR does increase ranged attack and some say it doesn't.) I found a guide that I believe is very helpful and very accurate. Just to add a point on ranged attack they missed. Str only adds to ranged attack with bows, whereas with guns, its alll Agi.

How about crossbow then? After all, it is a markmanship weapon like gun, yet it is a kind of bow that uses bolts instead of bullets for ammo? How does Strength and Agility work for Crossbows?

Also another thing I noticed they left out, and which only possibly 2 jobs would really even care about anyway: VIT X 2 = HP healed by Chakra. (X 3 with Monk Temple Cyclas AF) But that could be construed as an Advanced effect, after all you wouldn't really see it heal a lot of HP until your Vitality was in the 50's or higher and Mithra Monk and Warrior/Monk tends to have less Vitality than other races.

Crossbow is calculated just like a gun. A type of bow it made be, but its still mechanical and all ya gotta do is pull the trigger to fire
