Other than Hannah Montana, just what is the Hannah Montana movie about?

That's worse then what my hubby did to me (Swapped out my nitrous tanks for empty ones, and removed my Mitsu badge for a *shudder* Honda one).

Anyone see microsofts, the Gaming Helmet rofl, I knew that was fake the minute I saw it. Also VGCats stealing CAD-Online's layout and comic style was pretty good for a joke too

The movie is just pretty much following her (Miley Cyrus) around at concerts and backstage according to my niece and sister who are in  with Hannah Montana.

That would be the concert that made her incredibly wealthy that released earlier this year.

For those curious, the theater by my house sold out every showing of that. It was showing in their two biggest theaters which have a combined seating capacity of 1100, it had (If I remember correctly) six showings per day and ran for one week so that's about 46,200 tickets sold in just that theater.

Then again I think it was one of the only ones in Sacramento showing it.

In any case...

Disney is bound to own this world, and if their Hannah Montana line-up doesn't prove it, then I'll have to point you to High School Musical, Mickey Mouse, the endless amounts of sequels to old classics, and Pixar.

Did I forget anything?

Pirates of the Caribbean?

They're actually lucky to still "have" Pixar. They're contract ran out after Cars but Pixar must have wanted to renew it.

You mean made her parents wealthy :P I don't think she can touch the money until she's 18 most likely.

When I was... in America!</Bandit Keith> and had Disney Channel in my room I'd always watch Hannah Montana

A couple of anime movies by the Ghibli studios licenced by Disney for international DVD release.

However Ghibi does have some power over that.

Disney intended to release these titles as Disney studio titles.
(Something they like to do with a lot of titles they license.)
Miyasaki-sama said "Oh hell no!"

Disney also wanted to cut scenes out of the movies to make them "more suitable for the american audience".
Miyasaki's answer to that was quite original.
He sent the Disney studios an original Japanese katana with a note attached.
The text on the note only said:
No cuts!

Actually I had a friend who worked at Pixar, he left because according to him, Disney did a Hostile takeover (When EIsner was in control) and as such what contract. Prior to CARS Disney technically owned them. On paper it was a Legal merger.

She's still got money, what with how she's the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus.

Infamous might be a better term- and its all because of one song he did about 15 years ago.

In the (few) interviews I've seen with him, he's actually seems to be a pretty down to earth guy who just happened to have a well known song.

Heh well "infamous" would be famous in a bad way, wouldn't necessarily call being a one-hit wonder bad

Now he may very well be better known as "Hannah Montana's dad"

I don't think the mullet has ever been popular.

"Business up front, party in the back" ridiculous overall.

Scary thing is- beauty schools still teach how to cut that damned style and in certain areas its still a common sight.

Unfortunately >.>
