If you read the news about the comic he says it hasn't been announced for 360 but Sony has announced that it won't be exclusive, so it's more than likely to happen

No. SE said that some games will not be exclusive to the PS2/3 anymore. Look at Tactics: The Lion War. Thats a PSP title as well as their FF themed SSB-alike.

And then they're remaking 4, 5, 6, and I bet 1 and 2 for the DS using the FF3 (DS) engine.

The only one that's going to be on the 360 is FF13. Not FF13: Versus. Versus will be a PS3 only title. Which means I'll have time to wait for the PS3's price to go down.

SE is just trying to get themselves in a situation where they are everywhere at once, and at the same time. Exclusive. Which means Nintendo will get some exclusive stuff. Sony will get some more exclusive stuff. And the Xbox will even get some FF loving (In time).

I think SE's making a damn smart move in terms of their wallets.

I don't think it's Sony's decision and with the poor sales of PS3 it's not all that surprising that SE chooses to branch out a little. Think's there'll be 2 or 3 FFXIII games, all set in the same universe but not connected with each other.

Three have already been announced, all interwoven plotlines but each a different game. The announcement I read quite some time ago said PS3, DS, and phone. It went into some detail about how cell phone players could find each other while out in the real world and play together. Bluetooth I think.

Good to see SE branching out, though I still just cannot see playing Final Fantasy on a Xbox controller or Wiimote.

White Knight Story however still holds the vast majority of my interest.

Wiimote... It'll be interesting.

But the PS -> Xbox 360 controller migration is very easy. The only difference is. The D-pad and the left analog stick switch places, and the L2 and R2 buttons become the L and R trigger.

Everything else pretty much remains the same. Its not that much of a contrast to be honest.

And... I prefer the Xbox360's controller over the PS controller due to the simple fact that the analog sticks have little cups. Which means my thumbers control it alot easier.

Personal preference I suppose. I find the 360 controller burdensome to use, which is a shame as there are a few games I am really starting to like. I actually hate the cups though because I am a very light touch user.

If one of them does come out on DS I'll definately get it
