Catnip makes my cat really hyper, and makes it try and attack my dog. Infact I find this topic one of random Mithra randomness. Yes thats not a work but MAWH is not a word ether but I used it!

About drugs, I recommend not taking it unless you're going to die.
If it's just a flu or a normal cold and you have a temperature, leave it on with no medicine taken but drink a lot of water and put cool towel on your head if you have a bad headache. I'm sure you'll rid of the cold or the flu in 2-4 days, while taking medicine may result as a full week or 2 weeks.
(I got over my cold with this stetagy in 3 days)
Human bodies are amazing. They're well designed to rid of sickness quite easily without medicine to help.
