Small help on storage problems.

I usually use this tip when I have to stay in a place where there is mog but there's no AH or NPC who sells the ingredients.

First, go to the item delivery NPC in front of the AH. Put all your items that you may be using in the box. Send it to yourself.

Next, walk on to the mog, go to delivery box, select return for all items you have send to yourself.

OK then, go to the delivery NPC again and put items in the box again. Send to yourself.

..........

That's it, unlimited box! As long as you press return in delivery box.

Great for storing things that you might need.

e.g. stock grape juices for yag drinks, insect balls if you're going to Rabao, or stock in a lot of insect balls you bought at Khazam, etc.

Don't ask me how to take money from what you sell on the AH if you're using this method, once you press return on the item, that item will move to the last item on the list. So that you will get access to the next 8 items. :arrow:

Note that : you shouldn't use this trick with too many items, you'll soon get sick of having to press return for 30 or 40 items...

Good tip! I've used this trick to make room when I'm in too big a hurry to send junk to mules, log off, switch to mule, take items, log off, switch to main... over and over. >.>

Note: Items returned from the AH cannot be returned and must be taken from the delivery box or dropped to make use of that delivery box slot again. ;.;

For mules a good trick is to buy a gazillion water jugs from the goblin NW of the oasis in Rabao for a few hundred gil each. They provide 2 storage, so nearly double your MH space.

Anyone know where to find a good guide on where to find the event/af/generic gear NPCs and what gear they will store? I have yet to use 'em cause they don't let you store +1 gear and they require a full set, but it might start coming in handy once I start leveling several melee jobs simultaneously.

Event items can be stored separately one by one, I think.

I saw the event-item storage NPC in South Sand O'ria and in Port Jeuno, still, I can't remember where the NPCs in Windurst and Bastok are.

Just trade the event item to him, he'll cost you 500g when you withdraw it from him.


But for the normal equipment, yes, you'll need the full set.

In Windurst, the Event Storage Tarutaru is next to the west side trees in the middle courtyard of the north map of Windurst Waters.

In Bastok the Event Storage Hume is left of the bridge when exiting from the Mog House in Port Bastok.

Armor storage NPCs are in the corner left and furthest from the Mog House of Lower Jeuno, next to the Guide Stone.

Bastok's is in Market, just down the stairs next to the Home Point crystal, next to the tent.

Windurst's is next to the tent that the carnival sits at in Windurst Woods when Windy has 1st place in Conquest.

I've not a damned clue where the ones in Sandy are tho. XD

the lowest level the armor storage npc will accept is 24 i believe, cause i was looking to store my beetle harness, and it was no good.

There is a limit of how much you can send (or have sent) to a delivery box.

I know, I have capped it a few times.

I think the total number of items that can be sent to you (either by you or someone else) is about 80 (which would make sense due to that is the limit on both safe and storage in MH)

if your mailbox is full, the (what I call post office) will say that the reciepients delivery box is full and cannot send.

I personally would not do this with anything of great value. I am one of those who is afraid that I may lose something.

In a pinch this is a great idea.

I don't have anything of great value. mostly materials that I will use for synthing at some point. everything of value I have in storage or in the safe.

Personally I don't think this trick is that good, but I think it should help in someway.

(At least when you're stocking items for synth)

I use this trick too when i have a large amount of items i dont want to drop, but are not valluable enought to take into normal space

but i've readed about some incidents where ppl lost very expensive items.....
they just disappeared out of their deliverybox....
