My character's name

My real name

The website where I got the info from.

So according to this site "Keavy" is the Anglicized form of Caoimhe which is derived from Gaelic Caomh meaning "beautiful". Other sites say "Keavy" is Gaelic for "Graceful" so now I am totally confused.

I've been told by a Japanese friend that my name means "God of Su" or "Su's God" but "Su" has many kanji meanings so it's kinda nonsensical

Someone told me it means "Suck me" in Italian, hmm...

Mine is a derivative spelling of Sybil.

Its my mom's fault. She is a grrreat fan of the Star Sybil, subscribes to "Sybil's Prophies", "Famous Sybils", and about four other Sybil fan magazines....

I honestly don't know if the orignial spelling was taken, she was trrrying to be crrreative, or she just didn't have the nerve to use it.

Cyndari = took character Sindar(I forget from where) and since mithra was a female added the "ee" to the end and switched "Si" to "Cy"

I got the name from an old highschool friend of my husbands. He told me about her name because her last name was funny (i wont say it to protect her, lol) but I liked the first name. It's starts with Kat, which I found fitting since I'm a Mithra

My character name doesn't mean anything I guess, I just sorta came up with it using random sounds in my head.

My real name, Marc, is apparently French? I forget what it means... something about a warrior or a barbarian or something...

My name was apparently the number one most popular name in Catalonia in 2003 though.

Yuki may actually be a male name

if you've ever watched Fruits Basket there's a male character called Yuki but is could be for both sexes

I can tell you without looking at that webpage that Yuki is Japanese for "Snow"

Edit: kay I looked at the website and low and hebold it says the name is masculine so I was right

I bet there's a lot of JP players that giggle at your name hehe

also I didn't know about it meaning "Luck" also

Well, it's actually both male and female name there. (Yuki Kajiura for example) A little bit like 'Aki' which is nowadays a popular male name in Japan, although it was mostly a female name in the past (In Finland, 'Aki' is exclusively a male name btw.)

'Yukira' is a female name, though it is rather rare if I'm not mistaken.

names:

Nah, definitely not made up. As I said before - it is a female name in Japan, though I have seen many males with that name too. For example - Yukira Sugisaki (mangaka) is male and Yukira Oshima (actress) is female.

Char name, Aony: Doesnt really have a meaning, other than I didn't have a keyboard for my PS2 when i got the game, didnt know how to bring up the keyboard to make my own name (dad did all the registering stuff, took forever, I walked off and did other stuff) so I did a bunch of pregenerated names and took it cuz it sounded nice and smooth.

When I created my character I was flipping thru a sign language dictionary that has like 10 different languages in it (to get some ideas). I happened upon Angel (in english) and read down the list of translations and I liked the Chinese translation listed: Tianshi. That didn't fly with SE and I was sick of picking names, so for kicks I added the extra "i". Wa-la! Tianshii was born!

This looked fun so here's what I did:
I put in Tianshi (correct spelling) and got-
TINASHE >>Gender: Masculine & Feminine / Usage: African / Means "God is with us" in Shona.

But heeyy that's not MY name so I tried my "nickname" Tian-
TIANA >>Gender: Feminine / Usage: English / Pronounced: tee-AN-a / Short form of CHRISTIANA
Then my other nickname Tia (which is spanish for Aunt)
TIA >>Gender: Feminine / Usage: English / Pronounced: TEE-a [key]
Short form of names ending with tia. It also means "aunt" in Spanish or Portuguese.

What Tianshi actually means is Sky Lion (or angel). Which works out, I think, to be prrrrety cool because I am a mithra summoner & as it turns out I'm both of those things.
