I've been thinking of making a new character (may or may not be Mithra) and leveling that character as high as I can - with one small detail:

I won't do the subjob quest.

Yuppers, I'm gonna see just how far a character without a subjob can go.

Other members have expressed interest in doing this as well, the people I can name off the top of my head are:

Phelisia
Piranha
Toren (I think)

But I know if we are going to make a static party out of this we need to do it right, like Phel suggested.

Any takers? I hang out on the IRC channel (when Gold doesn't kick me) during 'work hours' weekdays central time.

I'd love to join in, maybe with some more details, you could count me in. I've got a Taru White Mage mule, but I can change her job to whatever mage job you'd like. Imagine a taru 75RDM/--- or a 75BLM/--- with full relic armor. It would be adorable

i'd be interested. i've been thinking of making a Galka War anyway, and this would be a perfect excuse course, it depends on what time is decided for static, but it sounds like fun.

My 'mule' character is a Mithra MNK 6... mainly just something I've been playing with when I got tired of magery. And I'm not far enough along that it'd be any sort of a distruption to switch jobs; I'm up for it. ^^

OK here is what I thought of (and blatantly stole) of what we need:

Galka WAR
Galka WAR (maybe - another 'voker would come in handy)
Taru BLM
Taru WHM (just because of the MP)
???? RDM (Hume or Elvaan - I don't know which would be better)

Which leaves one slot open entirely......

Any ideas? comments?

My thought is that a second WHM would help with downtime or a powerful third tank would have the enemy down faster.

Ive always wondered.......Since a dragoons pet wyverns abilites are based on his sub-job, what kind of wyvern would you have if you had NO sub-job?

My 2 cents on ???/Rdm Mithra much better than Hume Cause o the accuracy (Rdms main weapon, the sword, is only rank B for them). Also Taru for the sheer magical ability.

Second tank should be Elvaan iirc for the better damage output, while the Galka, naturally, be main tank.

yah, second tank as elvann sounds good. i would think maybe a thf as last member, yah know to fund the operation and all i'm gonna start a galka war tonight anyway, so let me know if you want me in

thf would almost be required... as for mnk... well it can be left out in place of another war... one galka, one elvaan, and as for funding... duuur crafting ;p
