Very nice JP party assisted me and even stayed up past their bedtime to ensure I got my level.

Tomorrow I begin Meriting after I get a better exp buffer. Currently my buffer is 39 Exp. So even with Reraise III I'd delevel.

Grats Keavy! BTW, my advice on 75 buffer is to never deliberately set merit-mode. Just let it switch over by itself after you cap it. Then you'll pretty much never delevel -- unless you stop playing whm completely.

Got three merits and am 260 points away from my fourth. Only used one point so far for MP+. Saving the others for Pro and Shell V.

WAR I met today offered me a good strategy: Earn a Merit, switch to XP mode for a while, then back to Merit. One of these days I'll have to try that

I'd say this would be better.

For every party you join. Set it to EXP until you gain 10k EXP and then after that switch it to merit for the rest of the party.

Within a few days, you should have a full buffer, and then you can die all you want.

^ That's what I do normally if I feel my buffer is getting too low. Too low = less than 25k

I'll get 10k than switch over to merits until I get enough for two upgrades than switch back for 10k, etc.

Anyway- went 44-46 on SMN this weekend and still haven't had the experience of having a RDM to give me refresh.

Good thing I started leveling cooking on Phe for field crafting- I'm only at pineapple juice still, but since I think low level RDMs are now extinct on Remora, I'll take what I can get.

Can not wait until 51 when I can start soloing SMN some.

The problem with setting the mode is that people forget to set it back. I've seen so many people delevel and shout "omg, I forgot to set XP mode." Personally, I had capped XP for so long before merits were added that I just got used to the automatic switchover. It's really very convenient.

Well, now that I have three merits used (Came home during lunch to put stuff on AH, bought Cure Cast Time -4% and Regen Potency +1 HP) I'll cap out my exp in my next meripo. In fact, if I had just kept myself in Exp mode I'd probably be within throwing distance of 43,999 but I was so excited to finally get to Merit that I had to get a couple.

Aside from popping in at lunch to sell party goodies I haven't done much else in-game. Friends are over and I'm pretending to check e-mails and such right now.

For a second there I thought you meant BIG Ouryu with 6 people. So many people are doing hard stuff with light groups these days. IMHO, it's much more satisfying to win smart than to win easy.

Logged in, was going to craft but ended up buffing up a SMN for Ramuh and helping her with some other stuff. That and PLing a friend's NIN which I promised I'd do ages ago took up my entire night.

Poor kitty still but soon...soon I will craft again and watch as my money grows. It seriously has to. I want to get back into RDM again but with no money for gear, spells, or pies I don't see how.

Went farming keys last night in Ifrit's and Boyahda for my nin.

Got those and found the coffers.
I'm now 3/5 on my third artifact set. (4/5 when I kill Dark Spark.)
Bought a Scorpion harness and went leveling today.

Oh, I did get to award Tenfooter with the "Leroy Jenkins award for excellence in MMORPG performance" for running straight into the arena while we were buffing and attacking EV with Carbuncle.

Well now, my kitty had a VERY good couple of nights. o.o;

Last night, capped Dagger as NIN (230 skill) and acquired my Dagger of Trials (oh the joys of breaking a weapon with no Light/Darkness WS >.<). And then tonite was just full of awesomeness. Finally got my Valor Breeches to drop in Dyna-Beacedine, and acquired Byakko's Axe, Suzaku's Scythe, and the Earthen Abjuration: Head for Adaman Celata for my WAR!

I are a very happy kitty now. =^.^=

GF's birthday last night. Went out to dinner, had a lot of fun.

Got a call at 5:30 after I got home from taking her to work. Call was from my employer telling me not to come in. Something happened at the building and we have no power (I was half awake and stopped paying attention after I heard "Don't come in but you're still getting paid") so I've been enjoying my free day of vacation.

Work four days, get a vacation day. I feel so...European...

) night for me.

Salvage first- Silver Sea Remn boss run- and we beat LAC (Long-Armed Chariot) with 6 mins to spare

I was /drk for the run, but the {Bastard Sword} Chariot resisted Stun so CS+Stun was kinda useless, so I just CS+Nuked. I wasn't expecting much, but surprisingly enough my Blizzard IIIs landed pretty well. Only resisted about 25% percent of the nukes.

<3 Ice ACC merits

Ea Brais x2 dropped so our WHM and BRD are happy now

Just about the second I got back to my MH I got an invite for W8-1 from a JP player. He already had the party gathering together so we went 8-1 and 8-2 and since we were doing so well I'm now Rank 10^^

Today I leveled my warrior trying to finish it as a subjob for my ninja.

Unfortunately the party disbanded with me at 36 with 1.8k to go...
Ah well I guess I'll get that level through some exp scroll quests tomorrow after conquest.

Got into a meripo party and am now back to level 75 with 3k XP, got a merit and am 7K away from my next.

Looking for a replacement party now.

Also, I retired Wiigirl as my avatar because it was giving me a headache.

Later tonight I'm making Yagudo Drink because I need the cash.

Edit: Crafting never happened. While waiting for Darksday I got an invite. First we went to the Bird camp but it was full. Leader insisted we try. Leader of another party got pissed and told me (Why me, I dunno) to take my party and leave. Told our leader this, he insisted we at least try. Told other party leader in /tell that we were gonna camp on top of his party because of his rude attitude and if he had been nicer we would have left without a fuss

After getting a handful of mobs in about half an hour (My comment really pissed off that other leader so their Bard was grabbing every bird in the area) we left for the Troll camp, minus the RDM who fake D/C on us.

Replaced RDM and went there. For about three hours we fought as five because the Trolls were using their (Secret) (Ability): Party Member Disconnect. Finally after going through 2 RDM's, a Monk, a PLD, and a THF we finally got a BLU as our sixth that was immune.

I got three merit points in the party and am damn close to a fourth. Used two points for MP+ because I'm maxing out MP first so I can get back to RDM. Poor or not, I want my RDM AF, damnit!

Edit 2: Sunday's crap

SMN 37 and I got a whopping +3MP compared to SMN 36 as my WHM sub. Whopee! But...I do get Meripo invites faster with SMN sub so that's good. Promy event was cancelled due to RL issues but with the help of an LS leader we got two LS members to Windy Rank 7. Would have been three but the third decided to get high...and arrived as we were in 6-2 fight after we sent him countless messages on Live (He was on Live playing UNO and would only respond with "Duuude...I'm so high" messages) while we were doing 6-1...now he's mad at us for not waiting for him. Do I care? No. He had his chance.

Got a killer 20K/hr Meripo. Six merits total although I went in with like 90 to next merit so that's not bad. Got my third MP merit and got the Oztroja key for my RDM AF. Our LS merc has agreed to get the three remaining keys for RDM AF for me. I'll PL him, keep him alive while learning BLU spells, and join him on some Meripo as his BST as payment since he doesn't want my gil and I don't want the keys for free.

Tomorrow I'm off again because electrician wouldn't come in on Friday (I am so in the wrong profession) so I guess I'll play Sonic the Hedgehog and Hexic 2 while I wait for SE to release the update for download.

I still need to quest my AF body and kill Dark spark for the hands to complete my AF set tho >.>;
