Astral Rings in BCNM20

Okay theres a lot of speculation on this right? well i want to know, how many have actually seen one drop in the BCNM20 Wings Of Fury?

I have, it wasnt my orb though, but im getting ready to try again

I've never successfully done this BCNM, so I can't say for certain. I can say that they drop from the BCNM 50 "Treasures and Tribulations" at Balgas Dias, that's where one of mine came from. That BCNM is actually soloable by anybody. You've got a 1 in 3 chance of winning.

I've heard this is a waste of beastman seals. You basically have to spend 150 seals for every one non-mimic treasure chest you get. And, this treasure isn't likely to give you an Astral Ring either... you may end up with low value junk instead.

You could collect 7 bc20 treasure chests for the price of just 1 bc50 treasure. Far more chances to get the Astral Ring in a bc20, in my opinion.

i did wing of fury yesterday... didnt go to well.. i got tail whiped ><;; just as my other 2 cat frriends.. dont go PLD, DRK and WHM, wont work sadly enough

RDM, PLD and DRK doesn't work either.

I have heard that 2 BSTs and a DD work well.

And if a BRD can sleep bats.....

I've done this with 3 summoners... The bats can't survive a triple Astral Flow attack Of course, you can only do one fight every two hours this way.

I think a thief and two summoners would also work (thief runs in and uses Perfect Dodge) or a paladin and two summoners (paladin runs in and uses Invincibility).

Do you8 still get astral rings in this battle? I heard they cfhanged it so you wouldn't....... I need some astral rings as an Elvaan Summoner....But they want 1 million gil for the damned things!!!!!

Astrals are up to 800K on Alexander when I checked tonight.

Wings of Fury can be won easily by two beastmasters. Charm both of the little suckers, and have them duo the big bat... the big bat will kill at least one of the triple bats, before it dies. Eventually the big guy will die, then it's a quick matter of killing the (almost dead) triple bat.
I'm 3/3 for wins this way.. I'm RDM with two of my BST friends.

I've won this one twice and lost once. Summoners or Beastmasters are a must! I haven't gotten an astral ring yet, but it's soo much fun to fight! Have carby distract one while the beastmaster charms the other, then everyone almost dieing from drainga....and then carby comes back to win it with Searing Light! So much fun!!

I did 4 runs of BCNM 20 with Ozzee, and Flymonkey. We didn't get astral rings at all, but Flymonkey did get a nice thunder pact. <3

ive done this one twice...once as smn, pld, and mnk (buff, charge in, mnk activates hundred fists on main bat, smn astral flows...preferably with diamond dust, then pld uses invincible) the main problem with this is keeping the mnk alive.

another time as whm, bst, and nin...but the only wins were frome bsts 2h (he was able to solo the bcnm, so it was kinda pointless) i was the nin, and could just about solo the big bat (i think), but the other 2 bats didnt really give me the chance to.

oh yea...got 1 astral ring out of 3 successful bcnms...failed 3 times as well
