Doesn't the government have more important things to regulate on the internet? Like the distribution of our SS numbers and personal information without our consent by 3rd person parties?

Oh wait, the average joe citizen doesn't have a lobbying group. That could be why.

It's sad when our government is sold to the highest bidder.

There are things we can do about it, rather than complaining to each other.

1.) Write a letter to your congressman.
2.) Call your state house demanding a time to petition the streets and/or protest.
3.) Call the White House (yes you can do this) and simply ask why (yes people do this everyday and they are directed to a person specifically designed to answer these types of questions.
4.) Create a website with your particular beliefs and provide proof as to why you feel these particular laws should not be in effect.
5.) Call your senator, every senator's email can be obtained through a google search, and they are required to give their home office phone number upon request.

In other words...you have to make it known to the public that you feel something is wrong, whether it be the law that was just passed or a trashcan that is out of place in your local city park...nobody in power is going to check a forum for a video game to fix problems that have arisen.

Wait, lemme get this straight. You're all pissed cause it's now easier to prosecute someone who steals media before it's even released commercially? Amazing...

Nobody will get in trouble for it.

It's not piracy unless you sell it.

Tell that to big businesses who most likely are only losing pennies on the doller per each copy of a movie/software program/song that is distributed through P2P applications.

Batsu walks in, looks around for a moment; he then covers his mouth and yawns.

Batsu : This bores me. . .
