It's a matter of preference. Some girls just like pretty boys. ^.^

Plus, I think the porportions are interesting. Usually, elvish creatures are just tall, thin humans, but Square actually made an effort to make them physically different in a way that is actually notable. Maybe that's just the geek in me. =P

Chatulio: Yeah, you're right....Mithra are truly exotic. In my opinion though, it is mostly their personality traits that make them so cute.

For sheer physical beauty, some Elvaan are the best in Vanad'iel. Boys and Girls both.

Of course you may need a stepladder to see this.

I think my Elvaan Mule is way prettier than I am.

Now personally I think that people who find Galka sexy are wierd. All those muscles, those short legs, the stiff tail.... yucky.

But it isn't the avatar that attracts me, it is the person. I had a crush on a hume with the tatooed skull, a look I don't favor at all, but he was so sweet and gentle......

See, I prefer the longer porportions of an Elvaan to the shrunken porportions of a Mithra. What's sexy on an Elvaan female (a kempogi with a subligar and knee-high boots) is lost on a Mithra, since their hips are so freakishly small. I like big butts, and I cannot lie! Give me some hips I can grab on to! 36-24-36? Only if she's 5'3".


I may be a rare case, though, since I think long necks, curved waists and large hips are downright sexy. Forget the rest, if (s)he doesn't have hips, I don't care. ^_____^

And Elvaan are the only race with a large selection of pretty boys. If any race I play is going to have fanservice, I'm going to choose the muscular man to the girl in a thong. I mean, if it's hard to avoid, at least get something that pleases the eye.

Yeah, I admit it, I chose my character for eye candy. ^_^ That and he looks like Sanzo, and Hakkai was already taken. =P

But as a guy y'll would htink i <3 Mithra and stuff cause there hot, but no not really...I have fallen in love with Prrsha's personallity on game, her char looks are just a bonus ^.^

I take offence to this ^^ I'm not gay myself, but I find it offensive when sexual preference is assumed to be associated with one particular body type. You're not gay just because you're skinny, or have large hips, or as a man look feminine or as a woman look masculine. Just like heterosexuals, all physical types apply and are excluded.

I have three characters: One hume, one mithra and one elvaan. I have no beef with any of the races. In fact, I think in terms of looks, each race has at least one or two face styles that I think looks pretty good. As for body proportions, I WILL admit that an Elvaan's build is a little awkward to, but then I remember that not everything can or should look just like a Hume.

Admittedly, I do enjoy playing as a Hume or Mithra most, but I'd probably take an Elvaan to wed more readily than any other race (in honesty though, I'd probably take whatever I could get because I doubt I'd have much of a selection).

i have three characters as well, Elvaan Mithra and Taru. With the Taru other ppl seem to like me and never be mad at me really. With Mithra they are nice but they get mad easier. With Elvaan they seem very straightforward but not mean, just truthful about any problems they think I am part of.

I know this isnt what ppl think of an Elvaan, I'm just listing the general disposition of other players toward me.

Don't worry about Batsu. He tries to find any reason to attempt to validate himself by making asinine remarks about others. Just a run-of-the-mill lip flapper... you pay him no nevermind.

As far as things "looking gay"... if they said "queer", would it be any different? One person might look at that as a derogatory remark, when a literal definition of the word is "strange". A lot of people interchange the terms "gay" and "queer", and "gay" tends to get the preferrential usage because it's shorter and easier said. The point is, words are just words... they're really empty to you until you assign some value to them. Instead of assuming everyone will cater to your preference of word choice, you should more realistically assume if the context doesn't offer offense, try not to take any.

Not that I would be interested in males of any race. Some of the Elvaan females are pretty I guess. Hume females are generally attractive, at least more so than Elvaans. And Mithras.....well....teehee!
