I think the update took like...an hour and a half on my connection, which isn't even very fast.

I updated already and got a chance to get further in Star Fox: Assault, too. Great game, by the way....(and Krystal's kinda hot, too)

I just fell asleep while updating. I played Inuyasha: Curse of the Sacred Mask... it's pretty fun, but sometimes the fighting is repetitive. Anyway, by the time I got up, the update was finished. Haven't seen any changes though. :?

Took about 40 mins. with my connection (8/1 Mbit ADSL). Good time to watch some 'Stargate SG-1'.....borrowed them all from a friend. A *few* episodes to watch.

1 hour 1 minute, Comcast Digital Cable, PlayStation 2, PS2/PC only things on the router using the net, TV turned off (yes the cable box splits the tv/net data, but i do it anyways), 1 big tub of movie theatre pop corn, one fluffy futon, and staring at the screen ; ; i need a life beyond my life :D

4 hours on 5/1 Mbit Cable.....

Anyhow,
I don't like what they did to the fishing system...
Tried it twice and both times my line broke while the fishes stamina was about zero and my "Fishing instict"told me I had a good feeling about this one..........

Byebye Sabiki rigs...

The Cable modem took about an hour, tonight I start the Dialup machine downloading, I expect to be sleeping all through the process.

LEARN THE NEW FISHING SYSTEM ON WORMS.

Much cheaper. Lost a Sabuki Rig myself right off the bat, then went to buy 2 stacks of lugworms. Before the first stack was gone, I was not breaking anymore lines.

Pulling before the fishe's stamania bar is dead empty = line break EVERY time.

I like the new system. It is both easier and harder at the same time. All the perpetual fishers on the ferry were absent, yet the rails were more crowded with people fishing than ever before.

Yup, you're right on that.

Back to worms it is.

And yes, it did occur to me that the place around the guild got busier too.
With real players that is. :)

That's normal. ^^
Spent the whole of last night downloading mine.
Decided to watch DVDs on the computer while it did.
Reviewed the whole movie plus extras, restarted download about 3 times I think before got the update properly installed. ;)
At least we don't have to go to a store and buy a box of CDs and open the wrapping and insert CDs one by one.
Though I'm sure sometimes it just might be preferrable... :P

I think the action based fishing thing is kinda logical actually... but then again i habitually tap my thumbstick (on the ps2 controller) when waiting for a fish to bite... in real fishing games, thats like wiggling the lure... doesnt seem to do any thing here, but habit is habit >.<

It took me like 35 minutes to update. Add about 10 for file checking and you have 45 minutes total.
