I noticed that a lot of people have picures in their signitures.
um how do I make one?

Well, first off, you would need to download a modelviewing program, such as the one by Foyle, unzip that to C://Program_Files/Playonline/Square_Enix/Final_Fantasy 11/ or wherever your thing is.

Use that to get a screenshot of your char in the desired pose,

The next step is to use an image editing program like photoshop or "The Gimp" to schnazzify your character and put your text in there.

Next, you'll need some hosting. Onfinite hasn't failed me yet.

Once you have your image hosted, you go into your profile, and where it says signature, put a [img]yourpictureurlhere[/img]


or... you can just ask us to make you one ^^;;

I usually get a friendly PC player to take a screenshot of my chara with Fraps or a similar program and send me the shots, then ask a friend of mine from another board to make mine with said shots ^^ (I need to do that again. I recently got FULL RSE and I'd like to show that off!)


...That's what you do if you're a PS2 player like me. Someone from here could prolly make one if you could get a good screenshot.

Oh, and Lihera: Thank you for mentioning that hoster. (Mind if I borrow that for the RPGamer Board Newbie Guide?) I use Photobucket and Trenzhost myself, and Trenzhost has gone down. Again. Photobucket hasn't evar failed me...yet...though. *knocks on wood*

Totaly off topic.

The sword that the GM holds is a european Executioner's Sword. They have no points, don't much need one.

Noble criminals were beheadded by the sword, they knelt to the Executioner but did not bow. Commoners were beheadded with the axe to which they bowed. If they were lucky. The execution of most commoners was a torture session. Look up what "drawn and quatered" means. Makes the way we treat prisoners in Iraq seem humane.

The Gilotine was a tool of democracy. Everyone knelt, everyone had a humane death. A leveling instrument if you like.

The Landsknects, German mercanaries ca 1475 - 1650 used the sword to excute their criminals. As many of them were criminals before they joined up, I am sure that this was a desirable feature of enlistment.

Speaking of hosters...

Here's the list of hosters I mentioned.. Trenzhost is missing atm since it is down; I commented that entry out. But pick your poison; I can guarentee all of these work. Just mind the cons, found after the BUT!
