I have been here since NA release as well, and you arrre correct, making leather armor was never profitable but at least you'd break even. Leather armor was just an example but you see the trend in other low end items as well. The simple fact of the matter is that the current trend of inflation is making it harder and harder for new crafters to get started. It's getting to the point where most items are not worth synthing anymore, the only pay off is to get lucky with a +1 synth.

As for goldsmithing, most low level finished goldsmithing synths are no longer profitable due to the price of fire crystals (at least on Phoenix anyways).

Okay, I've added a BIG one . . . Job-related Adjustments

This one should make Crispleaf VERY happy (as well as all you other WHMs).

bah...dragoon misses out on yet another opportunity for a job trait.

though maybe the ability is one of the 75+ ones they were talking about..../sigh guess i won't be finding out anytime soon.

on another note...does anyone know the day they're planning this update? I know they said something about late february but that's not specific enough for me....i neeeeeeed to know!

Thank goodness they're at least considering bringing Raise 3 back.

I mean, even if it were rare/ex, you'd still have to defeat a level 90 god who can summon 4 minor gods to help him just to have a chance at getting the scroll.

And I thought Eldieme Necropolis was bad

And as for the Banish spells being more useful... it's about time I could use Divine Magic for something. I only use Holy for a good laugh, otherwise it's a terrible waste of mp

I have not yet hit 15, mostly due to slow sales. I could sell the Zanghles (spelling) to the guild and loose 20 - 30%.

Well, elm logs are used in the production of the ninja tool Shihei. For the last 4-5 months the demand for the elm logs has gone up but the supply has not increased (and many even think the supply of elms has gone down since the Dec change to logging). This means that the price of a stack of shihei has gone from about 4.5k a stack up to 18k (in some worlds).

Hopefully they will increase the supply of elms, which will (again hopefully) decrease the price of elms, which will lower the cost to make shihei. Which will in turn make all the Nin's and /Nin's happy.

HA! With SE? . . . I have my doubts. I bet to activate these new NM fights you have to get some rare/ex drop off of some damn-near impossible to find/kill NM in some cave in CoP where a level 95 mob guards the spawn point.

The new update really makes me want to actually level my fishing. Also, with the lack of fishbots, fish prices should be a bit higher. But with the lack of fishbots, shihei prices will be higher....

They should add a NM that would drop an EXP book that would give you about 1,000,000 exp.

I'd farm that one!
