That is awesome. I'd like to see the x-brick or PS3 do something fun like that. I just hope the games turn out well with sword fighting in it.
I was seeing dual weilding in Red Steel :p and also was seeing sword/gun combos going onCamu wrote:That is awesome. I'd like to see the x-brick or PS3 do something fun like that. I just hope the games turn out well with sword fighting in it.
thats the best thing about the Wii, for the most part you dont need accessories :p the Wiimote (yes this is its name) can act as a sword, gun, steering wheel, fishing pole, ect. useing two Wiimotes opens even more doors (not useing nunchu atatment)Sugami wrote:XBox(360) and PSx use specific accessories for special games.
List of PS2 "accessory" games:
Guitar Hero
DDRs
Sing Star
Buzz
Various gun games
It makes the game that much more expensive but for everything else the standard controller is spot on.
I can see it being very annoying but will have to wait and see. My point being only a few games need accessories where the rest are just dandy with a standard controller.Kailea wrote: thats the best thing about the Wii, for the most part you dont need accessories :p the Wiimote (yes this is its name) can act as a sword, gun, steering wheel, fishing pole, ect. useing two Wiimotes opens even more doors (not useing nunchu atatment)
and playing FPS on Wiii will be alot easier then on other systems, the Wiimote will act like a mouse for looking around ^.^
cant wait for Call od Duty 3
A lot of bands turned them down for the first game. Where's Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns & Roses, Dire Straits, Queen, Kiss etc.?Keavy wrote: Also, concerning Guitar Hero, where is Fleetwood Mac's "Edge of Seventeen"?
This sounds like typical Micro$oft stuff to me. I've never seen anything like that on packaging for any other console.Tinacat wrote: It is common knowlege that consoles are more expensive to make, than the selling price. Also, you DO NOT own the console you bought, they still own it. What you are paying for is the rights to borrow the use of the machine. I know the thing about not owning the machine is stated on the 360 box, I wanted to scan it as proof.
acualy it is true, you pay for the rights of the system /game, this also aplies to movies you buyNobodyreal wrote:This sounds like typical Micro$oft stuff to me. It's probably so that they can take legal action against people who mod them to play import/pirate games.
Read the fine print sometimes. You may be shocked by what you get into just opening the package.Sugami wrote:My friend told me something similar about the games you buy... you don't own them you're just paying to borrow them indefinately
Same thing with music. Its like the people who sell an index card with their POL ID and Password on eBay. Basically you're buying a shiny plastic disc and case, which you own, but the stuff on it belongs to someone else.Tsybil wrote:Read the fine print sometimes.
