MNK25 finally, I've been soloing every level since 17, attempting to catch my guard up (Yes, I'm aware that capping it is near impossible, something I intend to do anyway ).

Anyways, after reaching 19BST then deleveling it to barely 18 after repeated mischarms I decided BST just isn't for me so I'm back on WHM and will then do RDM then probably Bard then Dancer.

Anyways, got a killer Meripo and now have Martyr and Devotion unlocked because the party requested it because we needed those skills desperately.

Despite the 20 minute recast they came in damn handy. I have one merit point left and 3K to my next and will probably get my fourth MP merit next before working on Regen and Cure then knock 2:30 off of Martyr and Devotion then some more MP then finish up Regen, Cure, Martyr, and Devotion then end with MP.

Then...Red Mage!!!

So let's do the math here:

MP Merits 3/8 need 24 Merit Points to cap
Cure Cast time 1/5 need 15 to cap
Regen Potency 1/5 need 15 to cap
Martyr 1/3 need 9 Merit Points to cap
Devotion 1/3 need 9 Merit Points to cap

So that's a total of 72 merits I need. Ya know what? I may just go ahead and finish up MP first then work on the rest later. Not like I need them all this second. Then again, I love playing White Mage...

Yeah, I know. I may just go with MP for now so I can get back to RDM and Bard and do the rest over time.

Also, on a whim I camped Orcish Panzer and upon its death Chariotbuster Byakzak pops and I was like YES!!! Because the drop is 100% but the NM popping after Panzer's death is 1 in 10. So I killed him and I now have this gem for my PLD: Auriga Xiphos which will last until 30 when I get the Centurion's Sword which is then replaced by Hunting Sword.

Edit: Got most of my Bard stuff and working on RDM stuff now. Going to do RDM first because I want to have really good gear for both and good RDM gear is cheaper.

Lets see...no new Merits unlocked but I did get a full merit point (Or two...I forget) and I'm 4K to my next. Also, on Tuesday...I GET MY ANNIVERSARY RING!!! Gonna get one for Cadie, too then have her quest the Ninja scrolls for me. Three free Merit points? Hell yes!

Also did my first Assault Leujoam Sanctum. Did it three times because the party leader wanted some item from there. Gonna see if I can get parties for the others and see if I can get my LS to repeat the Lebros Cavern Assault with me so I can get a Hale Ring without paying 80-90K on the AH. If not, I will buy it off the AH. Money's not the issue. I'd just rather not pay for something I can get for free.

What else...Oh, I helped one of the LS's newest members get his PLD AF gloves. Wasn't too bad of a fight with me (75WHM) him (56PLD) and his buddy (60PLD). I think he has Head, Body, and Legs left to get. We're gonna team up as an LS and get his keys sometime this week. Gonna see if I can get RDM AF keys I need while we're doing that.

Got my Magnetic Earring, Finished ToA and crafted a Dragon Harness +1.

Oh, yeah. I'm gonna log on in a sec and get my Anniversary Ring and see if I can get a Merit Party going. I dunno, might not be able to with the Halo 3 madness.

Later tonight I'm helping an LS mate get his BLU AF Sword and all staging points and in return he'll get me my last three keys for RDM AF (Crawler's Nest Chest Key, Garlaige Citadel Coffer, Necropolis Coffer) Then as soon as I've got my 8 MP merits gonna get RDM to 50, get my AF, then go to 75 only stopping to merit WHM when I need money.

Got my friend his staging points. Went OK until we were doing Dvucca and he aggroed a Soulflayer. I forgot Reraise so had to eat a HP. After that it was like butter.

On a more personal note, I just got back from Resident Evil: Extinction and loved it. Totally awesome movie. I'd only seen the first two once each and well...first one I don't remember a lot because I wasn't feeling well. Turns out I had a severe case of food poisoning (No joke: I almost died!) so that may have had something to do with me not really remembering much. Second one I saw after working a 14-hour shift because it was my friend's birthday and he insisted I go with. I fell asleep as soon as the lights went down but some of the action scenes woke me up. From what I saw, it was good.

My sister has both on DVD so I'll have to borrow them and watch them again.

Been busy recently

~Picked up BST again, now level 18 and counting

~More crafting on Phea- now level 63 cooking

~Started doing Limbus after 8 odd mths of having sea- so much fun and already am half way to my first AF upgrade^^

~Been earning merits at my usual pace (faster than a w.prince but slower than a flan ) and finally have a pretty good nuking build

~Finished ToAU and got my Balrahn's ring and Glory Crown finally!!!

Very happy about the last bit lol- my static has had so much trouble with the final fight its not funny. Finally got it done though tonight and I think the glory crown will go nicely with my opaline set

Hit lvl 71 Dark Knight. Not much to say other than that. I just wish I had something a bit more pro-active to do...

Also got my scythe of Trails. im 10/300 points to break the latent.

As for my updates, Minotaur fight is done (Took four hours thanks to my group) and I'm now 0/7 on Divine Might. First run with this group killed the Taru and got the Mithra to 30% before first wipe, second time got the Mithra to 5%. Pretty sure if we'd been able to go a third time we could have killed the Taru, Mithra, and maybe a pet or two before wiping which would have made a win possible.

After that I was on my way to log when I got an invite to Merit. I accepted and now have my fourth MP merit and need 3 more merits to get my fifth.

Ding! Finally level 70 ninja.

Tried out my Balrahn's Ring in Assualt for the first time last night and oh my-:love: - I'm going to get a lot of use out of it^^

3k exp away from my fifth MP upgrade.

I know I said I was gonna level RDM after I finished my MP upgrades, but...I'm really loving WHM right now and if I feel this way after MP upgrades are finished then RDM may have to wait a little longer.

Also, I love my Anniversary ring. I started using it last night and I think I have five or six charges left on it. So handy for meriting!

Aside from that, not much else to tell. Working on finishing out my RDM gear. Just need a Hale ring and looking into Errant and other alternatives for replacing AF when the time comes. Just need more cash, which is where Meriting comes in. I make a fortune doing it!

Well, not like millions, but I don't have to farm anymore which is nice.

steady income beats farming any day. Its one of the reasons why I took of gardening~ that and farming gets old after awhile.

OMG- seriously OMFG had one of the strangest most messed up Kirin fights to date. And I've had some strange ones ><

Things went fine, he'd summoned all the gods and AF'd. We had him down to like 30% and then our resident RNG (who is also a good friend) CFH on him!

There was another ls there besides ours- and they were cool as hell. Didn't try to lag us out or try to make him go unclaimed or anything while we were fighting him- the mages even started outside curing us at times.

So, we all logged out and back in- some of the other ls stayed to kite Kirin while we were getting back in game. So, we're all back and Kirin was being a complete bastard and wouldn't go back to passive. Had to log in and out 3x before we could even start to recover.

So, 3/4 of the shell was weakened (weakened x2 in a few cases) and then and we get claim back. Fortunatly the BLMs and I were able to ES Bind him along with the RNGs until we got a tank back on his feet to kite.

Kirin had regened to full by the time we started kiting again.

Then, I don't know if it was because it'd been such a long fight already (2hr mark by this point) or what but people just started bailing on us or just going afk without warning and we were starting to lose what we'd regained - so the leaders and senior members started calling in favors from friends to come help.

So we kited some more and started to chip away at his hp (again) while everyone gathered (few people from the other ls came to help too- very very cool people in that shell) and we were finally able to get the damned manticore down to 1%- and what does the bastard do?

Just as we were killing him- he Astral Flowed at 1% and took out half the alliance for revenge.

I'm glad we won, but that was one messed up Kirin fight. I've been through a CFH Ulli back when Ulli just to just be lotto spawn and a CFH Byakko- but this was craziness.
