I can't decide what to augment it when it get it. I'm looking at something DD to replace my DRG's SH and something SAM would be happy with.
But I don't know if I want to stick with +Atk +Acc (10 of each) and make it a pseudo Haubergeon, or try to spice things up with some +2 Double Attack, +3% Crit, or +4 Store TP.
More Store TP would probably only be useful to a SAM unless you already have enough for it to build on.
Double Attack seems like a must to me.
Accuracy, you might not need it, depends on your job and current setup.
Attack... hmm.
Critical Hits... hmm, along the same lines as attack only it's more based on luck.

How many augments are you allowed?
This body with Store TP Augments are still worse then Askar Korazin. For A Sam I recommend you only use this for say Paladin (if you have it) with Enmity +5/Fast Cast +5 or town gear. I used it during dynamis and my damage was all over the place. But my Askar Korazin's damage was consistant at around 600-800.

My SAM kitty's Att hovers around 370 - 390 without food or buffs. 10 Att would therefore seem to be a .25 - .30 gain in damage.
+2% DA = +2% damage. That one is straightforward.
+3% Crit is a bit more problematic to figure out. It will be your (average crit damage) - (average normal damage) X .03. Not running a parser, I have no idea of those average damage figures. But it does look not near as good as the DA option.
The STP option comes with Subtle Blow as well, +4 each.
I went with the Acc option being an Acc junkie, and the STP + SB option as that gives her a 6 hit without STP food. I pile on Acc so she does not have to use sushi, but can eat meat or trade in Haste gear and eat spaghetti.
For me the problematic one is the Royal Redingote.
I have the Relic body so I don't need it for Fastcast, building it as a nuking piece makes it only slightly better than the Errant/Mahatma body (not that we RDMs nuke often either), and the base mage stats make it meh for a melee piece. But even so it would make a better melee piece than the Scorpy +1.

Good point. But even with my LS's sam friends who actually have Brutal Earring and Rajas ring, even then Askar Korazin is still a sam's #1 friend. Although I still think the Nuevo is sexier heh.

Hachiman hands and feet, Chiv Chain, and Ecphoria. With the Neuvo that's 101 TP. So I can eat spaghetti and wear Haste boots. Or have a foodless 6 hit for those annoying birds. I can even buy a PCC and keep the 6 hit.
And if I get polearm capped, I can make a 5 hit Engetsuto build.
And if I get something better, I can toss it and build a MNK piece.
