ding! rdm 58!

i had almost given up with rdm cause none of my skills were capped. but i got taken out on a skill up party, gained about 5-10 levels on most things, now i actually have enfeebling and enhancing looking somewhere close to being capped. went out to randomly heal and PL people in valkurm dunes and gained another 5 lvls of healing. my skills are sooo bad at the mo, but after that skill up party i so got back into it after almost quitting. then i got into a kick ass party, which allowed me another 5 levels in sword, because we had 2 rdms, a whm and a blm (was friggen awsome), so i got in there and skilled up my sword. maybe i wasnt doing much damage, but i was still casting my elemental spells since the other rdm was enfeebling. was gutted though, cause of besieged, the party disbanded with me 2k tnl... got into another pty an hour or so later and got that extra 2k, and then pulled on my awsome looking rdm body AF. i'm in love with RDM again.

*goes off to lvl some more*

My RDM has been 75 for about a year and only recently has Enhancing Magic capped

It should be 292 to be capped. I'm one hard kitty to hit in ballista now.

Scored my scroll of Aspir!

OMG! An easy quest to be sure, but what a pain in the butt! Being a 46 DRG I didn't have any problem handling the monsters in Horotutu (or whatever it's called), but I spent a looooooong time trying to get to the part of the ruins to get the drop for the quest. Once I get there I almost couldn't get it because I had to go through the three mage door. Fortunately there was a party headed through there to fight an NM in the canal beyond.

Once I got the drop I couldn't get out! I was trapped... And no scroll of instant warp... no Trick Staff... I had to bloodport!

And once I got back to Windurst I had the damnest time trying to find the other NPC I had to talk to in order to finish the Quest.

...I see why some people buy these damn scrolls now!

Congrats on the quest lol.

You didn't have to blood port though- there's a "warp" point in one of the side rooms that leads back to the 3 Mage door room. Follow the tunnel at the top of the map and follow it out. You'll drop off a ledge and be in the Horo Ruin Tower closest to W. Waters.

Finished the Venerer Ring quest finally. So much travelling, my feet are sore now lol. The Novice Moogle was adorable though

Not just for summoner, because indeed I have lots better.

All hand armor I have usable on summoner, as rdm and nin is for others summoner is for me.
Space taking.
General use up to now:
2 heads, 2 bodies, 3 legs, 3 feet, 8 staves, 4 Hands, 3 necks, 2 rings, 3 earrings, 2 capes, 1 belt, 1 ammo.

On wishlist:
1 more set of feet, body, cape, earring, 2x head, legs.

i got my AF hat tonight thanks to some old friends who i hadn't seen in ages. also got into their ls, and discovered what my ls was lacking.

plan for tomorrow. 15k to lvl 60 then i can wear my very funky rdm AF hat ^^

RL- had a verrrry nice Anniversary with my husband, and managed to stay away from FFXI for two days as a result hehe.

Got choco digging up to "novice" level!

No idea what it is in the A# ranking system some pro choco diggers use, haven't figured out how that works yet.

Hmm...yea that's about it.

Plan on meritting tomorrow after maintenance so I should be able to get a few more merits to put on MP and Sword/Dagger.
