random update on the mod request for magic pots into lawn gnomes...
I posted a request on a site where I get my mods from (ffxidats.com). If they can't do it no one can!!!

Bunny-girls (Vierra?) were in FF Tactics Advanced and I'd guess at Tactics aswell, not sure if they came out before FFXI but I do prefer the cute mithra to the bunny-people

Umm, Finally got high enough to use Staffs on my Rdm, pity someone jacked up the prices by another 50k just before I did though. Still waiting on earth wind and water ; ;

Rocked up to my dynamis-bastok yesterday, I got randomly chosen to do main assist. Pulled off my first main assist really well, ppl were impressed considering twas my first time. Well, except the "Sleepga" incident, but only a few ppl died so its ok XD

Also one of my best mates finally got off his lazy butts and hit Bst75 last night, man he got so drunk afterwards :S

Congrrrats!!! But about those staves....

Light for Cures; Dark for resting, Blind, Aspir, Drain; Earth for Slow, Wind for Gravity, Silence; Ice for Paralyze, Bind. All others are optional for RDMs. Don't sweat it.

Don't have the right staff for a particular nuke? Use your Ice Staff.

Ice Staff L 51; Dmg: 30 Dly: 366 INT: 4 Vs. Wind: 15 Elemental Magic Skill: 10 Additional Effect: Ice Damage

November 19 2006.

Proto Ultima defeated.
I was waaay too nervous to make screenshots of the actual fight but I did get some of the aftermath.

I've been waiting for those for soooooo long!

Yeah we were pretty banged up.
The last 40% Ultima goes from reasonably handleble to insane, and no CCB polymer won't help.

Beat 6-4 on saturday!!!

Everything went well (for once) until Ultima was at 2%!!!! when he decided to go crazy on us. I threw Bio II and Poison II on just as we wiped. We all RR'd and healed then we went all out on him. throwing everything we had at him even though we were weakened still (we were down to last 5 minutes) Everyone else wiped again and as I landed Bio II on him again he turned towards me...he was getting ready to flatten me...and he fell to the ground dead.

Tenzen fight tonight was fun- we had a Samurai in party who wanted to see who was better, him or Tenzen. Took all of 2 minutes for Tenzen to lose

Well after a year i finally got the first Maat quest completed.

I am officially lvl 50. which probably means nothing to everyone else.

but after a year, it's a target i never thought i'd get to.

RDM50/BLM25/WHM22

although i've just discovered THF, wow. the difference from killing something as a Mage and as a dagger weilding maniac is HUGE... i think i'm in love ^^

Grats Karou!! I keep missing the Mamool Ja Besiegeds so haven't had the chance to fight him.

Last night was the Troll Horde one, which was fine, but he really wasn't much challenge just alot of defense and HP to whittle away at.

Grats Rinni on LB1, every Maat quest is a milestone and LB1 is one of the most frusterating to get the drop items for.

I once killed him with garuda... We were all pretty beat up. I had just gotten enough mp to bust out a BP.. summoner garuda .. Ultima was kinda far... until he SUCKED ME IN to murder me... which was JUST what I wanted.

BP-- dead ultima. such fun!!

Rinni- that's no small accomplishment^^ Wait until the last Maat event >.>;;

As for me...
Helped people through CoP 2.3
Helped defeat that windy dragon for sandy 2.3.
Helped several people defeat 2.5!
Ranked up on assault missions.
And finally after sitting @ 74 for MONTHS... White Mage *ding* 75.

Paladin 49. Only six thousand experience points left 'til the best level for Paladin ever.

(OF course it's the best level. Defender, Defense Bonus III, Protect III, Double Attack, Raise... not to mention a slew of new equipment. Is there a single level that gives more to any job? ((Meripo abilities at 75 don't count!)))

Couple minor accomplishments for me, and just a couple funny or noticeable things (from my view at least).

Couple new records for WSs for me.

New Blade:Jin record during exp out in Bhaflau Thickets. That party was insane. Was me, a MNK, and a WAR, 2 BRDs, and an RDM. How I EVER held hate is beyond me. XD

Plus hitting that with just 3 DD's was kinda like.

New record for my Full Swings.

PLD can't DD my tail. <.<; That was on an EP Pot admittedly, but that was also with no food active.

Who says Imps are hard to deal with? I dodge them in my sleep!
