i have a few things i need to say....

i know i dont post much which means i may not be known all that well so here go's.... i have been a member of the phoenix branch of mp for 2 years now, been active for all but 3 months. and from i have seen there have only been a few instances of sh*t that was not handled well by ANYONE not pheonix or any of the other servers...
1. the whole Zenturi incident
2. the kiren incident
3. the current BS thats going on

ill start with the kiren crap since it happened i have talked with all different ppl that were involved not just from MP i have found that he was rightfully banned from MP phoenix and i agree with prrsha wanting him banned from the site too. that way he cant keep doing what he was.
i am a good friend of prrsha but in now way do i follow everything he says w/o question, and from what ive have seen he is not a whining power hungry person. in fact i havent seen him complain much at all, and if he was power hungry wouldnt he be lv 75 in multiple jobs instead of staying in the low lvls to help the members of MP?? in my opinion he is more worried about everyone else lvling and having fun than he is about himself.i personaly have asked for way to much help from him and never really helped except when i could (which wasnt much until recently due to i was on dial up for over a year and a half ><) but it hasnt been much but prrsha still made time to help me out. and another thing alot of this is due to alot of you on other servers always saying bad crap about our server! so what if you dont like prrsha why in the hell you would you bad mouth the rest of us on Pheonix?? well im running out of things to say so ill stop now. i already know this topic will be locked but i put it in general chat so everyone has a chance to atleast read it if not reply.

The problem lately (from my POV at least) has not been with Prrsha's willingness to help. Far from it. However, as of late, even I've noticed a severe tendency in Prrsha's posts that if he doesn't like something, the next post by him is smothered in sarcasm/dislike/disregard for anything. (For example someone posts an opinion and Prrsha doesn't like it, Prrsha's next post consists of ":roll: Yeah, whatever" and completely disregards the possibility of there being any answer BUT Prrsha's) I personally love seeing Prrsha's posts when they're not of this type, but here lately it seems all Prrsha can concentrate on is disrespecting other people's posts, regardless. I'm personally not aware of anyone bad-mouthing Pheonix in General (if I myself did, then I'm sorry cuz that's not what I intended) but this situation I think has been blown severely out of proportion. The presence of one person should've been easy enough to overcome, either through personal control, or use of the ignore button. Screaming and demanding the admins remove someone and then deciding that suddenly the entire LS is gonna change forums cuz of it I think is honestly just a bit childish. Recently in the MP on Alexander there was a massive fight (myself being a main part of it, and not precisely happy) that caused a good half of our members to split to another shell, including Shanpu and several other higher leveled members. However, due to people willing to swallow their pride and get over it, in spite of Shanpu now having her own shell, we still have cats going back and forth between both shells instead. Now I realize that the situations aren't the same, but the solution is. Someone needs to swallow their pride and quit demanding someone else fix the problem, and find a solution of their own...of course, I can assume at this point that I'll probably get a response of "What do you think we jumped forums for?".

{/sigh}, anyway, like I said before, all you cats are welcome back any time you figure you want to be. In my eyes at least.

People don't badmouth Phoenix because it's a fun hobby. It's a center for continued drama and emotional escalation. Prrsha also has a "I'm right and you're wrong, you just don't get it yet" attitude to the posts, especially ones she's challenged about.

Every linkshell has some drama now and then. I won't deny that, but some people make drama to get attention, and it seems Phoenix MP people have a higher percentage of these people than other servers.

Do we want Phoenix to leave? No. Some people don't like Prrsha, and that's their right. I've seen Prrsha in a lot of disagreements, and not once have I seen her admit she's wrong. No one is right all the time, and some people are tired of someone who thinks they are.

The "I'm right, you're wrong" attitude is the one trait of Prrsha I can't stand. That aside, I think that before the drama over the event rules he was a great leader and MP Phoenix was the best linkshell i've ever been in.

The new event rule was the straw that broke the camel's back for a lot of us. Yes, we had to cancel some events due to poor attendance: Wanna know why? We had the holidays and after that, midterms for the HS/College students. Add in the usual "Life getting in the way" and HNM/Dynamis folks and there's where the attendance issue came from. Prrsha's solution wasn't the best in my opinion and I made that known and again, the "I'm right, you're wrong" thing came into play and I along with others lost their temper and things were said that in my case, had been held in and more would have been said, but I kept my damn mouth shut when the s*** hit the fan.

All in all, I think Prrsha is a great leader and could easily rebuild MP Phoenix into the great LS it once was. I'm almost sad that I won't be there to see it.

I like the laid back calmness of this thread. Theres nothing wrong with people calmy discussing their opinions on things. Its when the name calling starts that things get ugly and you get "drama" and people start talking about quitting and what not. We are all human and we're not always going to see things eye to eye. There are alot of people I deal with on a daily basis that get on my last damn nerve but I treat them kindly out of sheer repsect for other humans...I'm not perfect though and alot of people also get teh tongue lashing, lol. Anyway, all of this will simmer down and eventually evaporate... and then something else will happen with somebody else and it will start all over, lmao. Such is life and thats what makes life fun

right?

Damn I've been rambling alot lately...

yeah I feel bad too -.- I loved being in MP and I loved being with everyone, but when that rule thing came around, I could see me being kicked out in the near future, so I said somethign about it...and then the way I was treated afterwards was why I was so pissed, and why I was part of this "drama" fest

I never wanted to leave, but due to some new rules, I was forced to, and I would have been glad to come back if it was not for Prrsha not wanting me back in, but what ever. I agree latly I have seen Prrsha change into something I dont like and before I loved Prrsha as a leader.

Well this is interesting, this thread raises all the points why I got so upset with my last LS and actually deleted my first character. A really bad move btw, but at the time I had been driven to tears by one person who didn't like my opinion about a certain issue. Now I would understand if I was the kind of person to be rude and unkind but that's just not the case, simply some people ride up the curtains if you either don't agree with them, or worse contest their ideas. What would happen if we didn't? A lot of things might go uncheked I believe, I also think criticism doesn't have to be a personal insult. I highly respected the person that ended up swearing, 'yelling' and even threatening me, which is why I was so damn upset about it. The thing is when you refuse to accept other people's opinions you end up hurting yourself and what people will think of you later on.

Which brings me to Prrsha, I usually don't like other people discussed so openly, but I have been on the brink of PMing a moderator myself about this person. I think a forum should be about creating connections and sharing ideas, not dismantling them. As a new member of MP I haven't known most of you for very long, but I do remember some wonderful posts by Prrsha and it's so sad that the only thing pretty much posted by him now gives me a headache. See the thing about flamming others is that you end up being flamed yourself or having a thread dedicated to your behavior....

Yes everyone has drama, but to feed that drama continually while saying you're trying to stop it, is silly. Please try to hear each other, and if you want someone banned take it up with the appropriate people, no one on the forums needs to know what each person did in the past...
