Hexa Strike is mine

I got Hexa Strike finally.

I made a skill up pt went from 197-221. Rdm tanks are the best dont get a pld. Pld take too much damage and take away from you hitting. I am lvling nin now so I can become a better whm/nin. I love 2x darksteel maul. It really helps since Hexa Strike is attack based as i'm told. I can solo crabs in kuftal tunnel now.

Saw a Taru WHM/NIN solo the Sea Horror once. He used Hamer and shield, not dual hammers. Utsme only, neither Blink nor Stoneskin. Hexastrike was doing 500+ damage. Way cool fight to watch.

The funnest part was the laps around the wheelhouse after the Horror hit Hundred Tentacles.

What's with all the PLD bashing lately? I keep getting it in the LS too.

Sounds like one hell of a move there for White Mage though. o.O

Sounds cool. I wish I got to use my Clubs and stuff more as a WHM. I'd love to get those weaponskills.

I rather don't appreciate that stab at PLDs though as one myself. I like to think of myself as a good tank, at least a good tank in the fact that it's REALLY HARD to pull hate off me when I put all of my energy into playing the game.

Congrats on Hexa Strike. I saw a White Mage/Ninja solo a Scorpion in Operation Desert Swarm KSNM and kill it faster than the Paladin/Ninja disturbingly enough.

But in defense of Paladins... and going pretty off-topic here but anyways a really interesting use was found for a non-tanking Paladin. (I know.. blasphemy

) With the Full Koenig Set they have an extra 60 Charisma. That does not include other possible slots with +Chr like Sword, Rings, Koenig Belt, and Koenig Shield. Add that onto a Paladin's already pretty high Charisma score and you get a character with more Charisma than a Beastmaster can dream of having because Bst simply aren't allowed to equip that set of armor 0.o; Using a fully leveled Beastmaster job as a subjob, Paladin/Beastmaster wearing that much +Chr will actually Charm mobs with greater success than a main job Beastmaster. Yet they will still retain a much higher amount of Defense, HP, Vitality, and the ability to cast all of their line of White magic spells to boot. Basically they become a Beastmaster with much more increased survivability. I don't know how general this knowledge is yet, but it could become the next big Paladin job combination... one that's actually not really focused on tanking at all although taking hits with that armor equipped shouldn't be a problem either since it adds just as much Vitality. This is a job that can also actually solo succesfully. Of course, getting full Koenigs is no mean task, but if you're a dilligent enough end-level Paladin it's certainly possible. That's just Koenig too, if they actually manage to get their hands on the Kaiser pieces its just... yeah.

Undoubtedly if this becomes the norm though, S-E might just finally get around to fixing the "bug" where the Beastmaster's level as a main job is calculated into the equation for charm success rather than at its subjob level.

Seriously! I wish my club skill was that high, it's only about 110. As you know, as a whm it is nearly impossible to raise your club skills

I'm sry I think I need to explain what i meant. As a whm in skill up pt you want to hit more b/c you want to skill up. However you will have to naturally heal ppl like a xp pt thus making it harder for you to skill up. I have been in a few skill up pt and in each one its the same when you have a pld tank in them.

I wind up healing alot and have to even rest for almost half a fight just to get mp back and so do the other mages.

HOWEVER WITH A RDM tanking its totally different. The rdm tanks take no damage and hold the hate really good. Thus meaning i get to do what i came to the pt for.

Sry for not saying that in the start. I mean as a whm I love the tank b/c all my game life as a whm I have had to vork with them. How can you be a whm and not learn to like tanks no matter wether they are nin or pld.
