The following are nice:

Ram horns and skins.
Elemental Clusters (Wind and Fire).
Silk Thread.

As for beastmen seals, you only get them from killing monsters that give you exp. No one monster gives seals faster then another.

Not entirely true,

Beastmen's seals drop just as often as they drop in parties.
But as BST is a solo job the seals drop into your own hands instead of the hands of your partymembers.

And yes, I started to do bst myself because of the seals. :)

As for farming Rams and Elementals,
I do advise to sub a job with widescan like rng.
As they are hunted quite often on Titan.

Silk Thread.
Yes, and for the love of Altana, don't farm them in Sarutabaruta when there are newbies running about! If you insist on farming in Saruta, try the Spiny Spipi spawn area in E. Saruta, near the western tower and the creek to the northwest. That seems to be an accepted farming/camping area, and you could also get Spipi to drop the Mist Silk Cape, which is a nice bonus (~25-50K, depending on your server).

The one place I've been farming for the past week is in the Maze of Shakhrami. Killing scorpions for shells and claws adds up. On Siren, the claws sell for 800-1 K gil, and the shells sell for 1 K + depending on where you sell them. In a few hours of farming there, I made about 25-30 K.

Just well clear of the gates. In West Sahabaruta, Starfall hill and beyond, in East there is an east - west river through the middle of the map, there and beyond.

Also in the Canyon.

Okay I knew about that. That's the best place I know of. There are a couple of hot spots for crawlers in E Saru and generally they are almost everywhere.
Also in the Canyon.
Maybe I haven't explored Canyon enough, but I haven't seen that hunting crawlers is that feasible there. Some spawn around the trees (2 for each tree I think), but those are few and far between, and are grabbed practically as soon as they spawn (and seem to take a long time to respawn). Is there an area that I'm not aware of?

Last time I checked on Alexander, a stack of Wild Onions sells for 8k. So, you could have a level 7-8 job and go to Horotoro Ruins and farm Fire Crystals and Wild Onions from Goblins there. A stack of Fire Crystals sells for almost 5k in Windurst AH.

On Garuda there must be fewer people in the canyon.

No, you are right, the crawlers are fewer and further appart than in the Sarutabarutas. I hunt Elementals there too (do not do this as level 25ish melee), and many hunt Dhalmels there also. Look up the price of Giant femurs and Dhalmel Hides. The Femurs do not stack.

yay i found a way to make money...mining!!!
its great even u buy a load of picks u still make a good amount of money and barely takes time at all u jsut need full worker gear and luck to get good ores
just 1 swing of the pick you ca get a god ore and i mostly get iron ores (which is good) that sell for 600 each which bastokans go crazy for
next time im going to palborough to see if i can get any mythril ore that sells for 2k each muahhahaha

the plats can be mined out of Palborough, however they're very very rare. I guess the problem with palborough is that unless you hit something big, the loads of ok or good ores just won't pay for the stack of picks you'll spend mining there or at least that's my experience with it. If you can do gusgen safely (50+) darksteel ores are more common and sell (on alexander) for half the price each of a plat

Farm for silk threads in Maze of Shakrami. :)
You can kill crawlers there to your little hearts content with little or no competition.
When you get to higher level, you can farm in Rolanberry where there are a gazillion crawlers. All of them drop silk threads.

As a lvl 50 thf my favorite place to farm is the Highlands for the following reasons.

Bees - Chips 6k/stack, wings 1-2k/stack, stingers 2-3k/stack, honey 2-4k/stack

Saplings- treant bulbs 1-2k/stack, various seeds 6-8k/stack

sheep - Skins turn to leather 13-15k/stack

Gobbies - Steal beastcoins 2-3k/stack, gobbi mask and armor 500 per
(weavers), grass thread 1-3k/stack
(thugs), Wild Onions 8-10k/stack
(ambushers), Animal Glue 10-12k/stack

Elementals - Wind, lightning and Earth Clusters

Rams - Horns 1-2.5k a piece, and skins turned to leather 20-25k/stack.

I pull 100k/hour fairly easy from this place. As a lvl 50 thf I run around naked w/ 2 daggers and my crossbow. then have around 55 spaces of inventory to hold stuff.

If you are from bastok do the supply quest to the dunes and N Gusta. Then you can easily tele right back to the metalworks and clear your inventory.

Hope this Helped ^^

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've been farming scorpions in the Maze of Shakhrami for the past week or so now since they don't seem to be that camped. I have killed crawlers there (assloads of them) and have yet to get a single silk thread off one of them. ><

Personally I find ordelle's cave to be very profitable, theres no annoying skeletons to deal with and the higher level goblins drop fair amounts of gil along with the occasional stealing of a silver beastcoin. Stropers also seem to drop on average 3 vines per kill from what I have seen, and they usually go for about 1k, along with that elements spawn very often and wind being one of them whose clusters usually go for 2-4k...Not to mention chest hunting also... :)

I'm not going to mention Stroper Chyme because its just too sad...
