TV Shows that will be remembered forever.

Post by Karou Ariyen »

And as far as I'm concerned Friends will go down in history as that. I own all 10 Seasons on DVD + The final episode single DVD. And I spent the last 48 hours watching from the very beginning to the very end. And I still cannot watch the final episode to this day w/o breaking down and crying.

A flash from the past! ... though it's probably more like a drive-by mooning.

Blasts from the distant past.

Maverick.

Rocky and Bullwinkle.

The Honeymooners.

I love Lucy.

And the first anime to catch the imagination of American kids, Speed Racer.

Yes, I saw all of these when they were first run, but didn't follow the animated ones as they came out when I was in my rebellious I don't watch TV phase.

Today its more like 300 channels and nothing on so I don't watch TV.

For BBC/America/PBS (as some of them were on PBS before BBCA): Red Dwarf and Waiting To DIe

Sci-Fi(US): Stargate SG-1/Stargate Atlantis, Seaquest (Because we truely know nothing of our own oceans), Space: Above And Beyond, The Original Battlestar Galactica (Back when it was about a plot, not cheesey SFX.)

If BBC is in this mix, the Jeremy Bret Sherlock Holmes series.

Simply the finest Holmes portrayal in any visual media ever. Maybe better than the original books.
