Re: Am I the only one?

Actually both. The cat can be seen as a specific subset of floggers. 9 lashes, materials of the lashes can vary. That one is nylon I think. I like the knots on the ends of that one's lashes. I have friends who would drool over it. meow~ pain~ meow~ ... but even so, being whapped with chain sounds ba...

Re: Went to Anime Expo 2013 in a skirt.

Woah.. wait, you go to Norwescon? o.o I had gone for the last five years. Clearly I missed the 'good' part of the con :) Good parts for me are seeing old friends and the dances. Remunerative parts are picking up and delivering orders. Wish I had people to go to cons with over here, not like there's...

Re: Am I the only one?

I sell to, and design for, people who LIKE pain. Receiving or afflicting.

As for me, pain HURTS.

Making the stuff, and working with people who play with the stuff (at least if it requires imagination), is the fun part.

Re: Am I the only one?

Yes, from what you all have said its a flogger. Those tend to have rigid handles and several to many long rectangular soft leather tails. Of course many other materials work for the flogging ends (or floopy bits as I like to call them), strips of inner tubes, those medical rubber tubes, plastic aqua...

Re: Went to Anime Expo 2013 in a skirt.

I used to photograph my way into / through Sci-Fi cons back in the silver nitrate era. I don't mind a job during a con but ConCom isn't a job, its a way of life, and not mine. As to anime cons... in Seattle we used to have the unfortunately named Bakacon, now we have Sakuracon. Its run by graduates ...

I got to know a LOT of strippers when I was sewing their costumes.

Better money these days in S & M clothing and gear.

Re: Am I the only one?

Actually poles are less stress on an apartment / house than a chinning bar.

A good friend has a pole in his dining room and a bunch of stripper GFs / roommates to play on it. I discovered I am WAY too old to do pole dancing but no one was looking thankfully.

Re: Am I the only one?

Not I.

I am an OLD kitty. I used to be a night owl. Back then I would be awake at 2:AM. Lately I wake up around 6:AM. Wake up as in can't get back to sleep, not woken up enough to function.

Probably I will be back in the beta 8 or 9:AM PDT.

The big M backs down!

Apparently, faced with the simple fact that there is competition in the platform field, competition that actually understands its customer base, and realizing that the sales ratio was looking like 10 or 20 PS4 units to every Xbox One, Microsoft pulled a strategic retreat. Forbes c/net Would you like...

Not just sued, class action sued.

BIG difference as least as the lawyers (solicitors) payout is concerned.

Re: Yet another reason to not buy the Xbox One

The RRoD led to a class action suit. They don't want another, I suspect more for the publicity than the payout.

Also, the big M will be hiring any arbitrators. So you know who will come out on top of any arbitration.
