The in game item codes will only work with a character created after entering them. It's why I gave up trying to get the armband codes. I didn't want to delete and restart.

Sorry but SE forcing us to craft our own "Christmas" presents is pretty pathetic to be honest. They really turned me off on the event.

Damn... I guess since you are posting that you are using them? If that is the case, you may want to uninstall the win7 update. Oh, a cool little note, you can google windowerxiv (megaupload still has it). With that little program you can play in full screen and alt+tab out without crashing the game...
