A lot of what I'm hearing of it, is its like an early 360 game. Complete with texture pop-ins and long loading times. Not to mention, the humor in it can be rather crass at times. I'll wait for Steam to drop this to $10-$15 in a few months.

FFXI US release was pretty stable.

But, until someone comes out with a MMO suite package, no MMORPG will be completely perfect.

My problem is I can't think of a good last name to use. Nephylys is what I'd like to use, but I think people would have a hard time trying to spell that out correctly on the first time. And I'd short it down to Neph or Nephy, but it just doesn't sound as good. Gaaah. I'm not going with Fiye Leviatha...

I was able to get in and pester around for a bit.

A lot of the starter areas are crowded, and the game runs smoother than it did last time, so the fixes did work.

All I know if I need to build me a spanking new machine if I want to run FFXIV decently.
