My 'cat' can go to 85 in 1s ^-^.
Frankly, I wouldn't be playing it if it wasn't BGO... and it's also PvP. In a MMORPG setting. But at least even the level 1s can run away from the level 100+s easily.

Weren't they called that all the time? Classmates and teachers just called them O-levels. Could be a more fogey institution though.
And why are your private schools... called public schools?

Battlestar Galactica Online - f2p MMO
http://battlestar-galactica.bigpoint.com I'm a Cylon Cat on the Caprica server. It's surprisingly lag-free, and the f2p 'money' or cubits can be easily earned quickly. Wallet Warriors don't have quite as big an advantage as in other f2p MMOs plus there is 'money' that you can only earn via actions a...

99 /99 /99 /98. Guess where those numbers come from. ACT? Or ACH? I remember being told that 97* was the highest possible score on Physics. They rigged it so no one could score 100. The average for this year, 497 verbal, 512 math. So dig up your old scores and feel good about yourself (or not! :iws: ). [Min score is 400, max score is 1600. SATs since 2005 are actually 600-2400, 3 parts to the test now for your oldies out there. Just in case you get an employee boasting of a 120...

It's money. ME3/BF3/etc would still be on Steam otherwise. ME2 sans DLC is still on Steam after all, the DLCs were not sold via Steam for the same reason as the new games are not. Steam wants control over the delivery and update process, including add-on sales. I prefer to buy a game and maybe one a...

Might be a tad gross, but you can reverse the pump direction of yon olde vacuum cleaner and blow your PC once a month. Sexual innuendo not withstanding, even if you blow the PC twice a year, it helps. I can normally see a 3-5C temp reduction on some really badly dusted PCs. Plus your cat can now cla...

9800 GT is inherently hot (100 C is not atypical). If you look closely at the background of the card, it's closer to a 7800 or at best a mid-range 88xx card. Marketing loves to rebadge* things (ATI 6xxx cards are faster than their 5xxx cards? Well.. not quite) and it can get confusing. What about ju...

Re: Diablo 3
Two problems with Steam. a) they are not perfect and when they screw up, their CS is about as good as a major corp... it sucks. b) their 'DRM' is just as crackable as any other. In a lot of cases, even easier. The main thing though, is they give you a 'so-so' level of DRM which is not too annoying a...

Name any major game whose DRM withstood more than a week past NA retail release. Now compare their piracy rate versus anything released by Stardock prior to Impulse being sold. To give you a hint... not a single one had a lower piracy rate than the most pirated Stardock game at that point. I remembe...

North is good. San Francisco, Vancouver's out right? I liked San Diego, loved Seattle but have no clue about the education prospects there. For education, one should research the school district. Sometimes, the zany and 'just right' are adjacent to each other. Or a great neighbourhood might have a r...

I don't really like this sort of thing, while the motive of wanting to conserve power is laudable... SE's datacenters don't take that much power. If anything, they can run on the diesel gen-sets for months (the associated data lines are still active, telcos are not shutting down). SE isn't alone eit...

No, no abnormal waves that I can see. Osaka/etc. unaffected. If anything, it's the indirect effects like the rolling blackouts taking out services that you were connecting to.

Did you check the changes they made in routing? Their costs go down, our bills go up... unless you're a business customer with a big wallet. Then you're golden. I probably pay 10% of what a residential customer pays for the same bandwidth with about 33% less hops too. Maybe neighbourhoods or cities ...

Yeah, I love those arguments. Their equivalent of the FCC allowed a 'backbone' provider (similar to out AT&T or Sprint) to change how they charge by usage. Mind you, the smaller ISPs already pay the backbone providers by how much they use but this change means that the costs will go way up and it will be passed on to consume...

Fan service. I really hate it, yet as time goes by, it gets pasted in more and more. When you make your profits and much of your production costs from disc sales and the biggest reason to buy the discs is the "dehumidification" ... almost makes you want to agree with Ishihara. I don't mind...

Shirai is an otaku. Sugs is not. Well maybe... In JPN-land, otaku = pretty extreme fan. i.e. people who would pay 200k for a guitar signed by the VAs of K-On for example but Shirai would count too since he spends that much effort/time/money on it... but in a positive sense. To be called an otaku in ...

And one they win. Sony wins temporary restraining order in PS3 hacking lawsuit Kind of a useless victory, seeing as how they are trying to put a genie back in a bottle.
