Stick with lower level spells as much as you can. I find that I 'miss' (do less than full damage) much less with lower level spells than with ones I just got. I splurged... my first foray into gardening ends tonite. I loaded up my mule with grain seeds and four brass flowerpots a few days ago. I should be harvesting my first crop of fire crystals tonite when the moon is full.
