I figured it out.

Why the males are rarely seen, that is.

They're all healing. Mithra-sex (aka Snusnu) is so violent that the males usually end up all clawed and (possibly) infected.

They stay in bed, heal up, go at it, and the cycle perpetuates.

If you read the manual it says that the males never adventure out from their homes, this being their home so technically if you invade their houses you should see them :lol: I doubt SE will put them in though...
